Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities


Australia ratified the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 17 July 2008.  The Convention entered into force for Australia on 16 August 2008.  The Conventions covers a wide range of areas including right to life, women with disabilities access to justice, education, work and employment.
