Job Services Australia

 

Job Services Australia (JSA) is available to all job seekers and provide shorter term, personalised support to access training, look for work, and some support once in employment.

Financial assistance is available to participants to obtain work related items or training, but is subject to negotiation with each provider and level of need.

Wage Subsidies are also available as well as assistance to access the Workplace Modifications Scheme for people with a disability.  Access to the supported Wage System is not available.

JSA provides access to a range of Work Experience activities, including Work for the Dole, Green Corps, Drought Force, study, unpaid work experience, voluntary work, and even relocation assistance to areas with higher employment prospects.

 
Special measures are in place to;

Engage job seekers recently made redundant

Engage job seekers over 15 years and not in full-time study or work

Engage job seekers with a disability with specialist providers who still deliver the regular JSA program

Other categories that arise from time to time still deliver the regular JSA program
