Accessible business improvement grants open soon
Local businesses can apply for a Shire grant of up to $5000 to make improvements or enhancements which increase the physical, visual accessibility and amenity of business premises for people with a disability. The sorts of projects that will be funded can include ones that:
- Increase the number of people with disability as customers, visitors or employees
- Enhance existing accessible amenities
- Encourage more people with disability and their friends and families to visit a business
