Achieving employment goals: how JobAccess works with DES providers to support jobseekers with disability
As a DES provider, you can engage with JobAccess to meet your candidates’ employment goals – from providing individualised support and advising on career opportunities to working alongside employers.
This free 30-minute webinar is a refresher for DES managers, employment consultants and front-line staff on organising workplace adjustments, engaging with inclusive employers and accessing other employment-related supports available through JobAccess.
You will have the opportunity to:
Learn about the supports and services available through JobAccess to assist people with disability during their job search and to start a new role.
Explore how DES can support jobseekers entering or re-joining the workforce with simple workplace adjustments that may be reimbursed by the Australian Government’s Employment Assistance Fund (EAF).
Gain insight into how the National Disability Recruitment Coordinator (NDRC) directly supports DES, including dedicated employer information sessions, regular updates and a vacancy distribution service.
Receive tips on how jobseekers with disability can apply for roles with inclusive employers and prepare for interviews.
